Challenge
ASME’s sustainability work spans climate action, standards, policy, workforce development, technology, and global programs. The opportunity was to connect that breadth through a coherent institutional narrative and a clearer public role.
Camperdown’s work
For three years, Mike Iacovella served as an embedded communications lead within ASME’s sustainability organization, combining strategic counsel with day-to-day communications leadership. The work shaped institutional positioning, translated technical priorities for executive and external audiences, and developed the content foundations supporting ASME’s sustainability agenda.
System built
A sustained positioning and communications foundation linking engineering authority to industry action. CATALYZE became a capstone project—the culmination of years of enabling work connecting ASME’s technical expertise with the audiences and organizations needed to advance the sustainable industrial transition.
